The route of the 2005 Trans-Canadian Canoe Expedition
On May 11, 2005, with an old beat up 20 foot, 110 pound canoe named The Beast, Andrew and Peter Marshall set out from their home state of Minnesota to paddle 2700 miles to the Arctic Ocean. After 122 days on trail, they arrived at the Inuit village of Kugluktuk, at the mouth of the Coppermine River.
